Kirsteen
I got a jar of Nutiva organic coconut manna to try. What do people use it for? I'm aware I could sit down and just eat it straight out of the jar, it's delicious. I had a momentary thought, if I gave up all other fats, how much could I eat a day (only joking). But in the spirit of whole 30 how do people actually use it in cooking?
Rebecca30
I made some and then was at a loss thinking what I could do with it. Turns out it is delicious on hot sweet potato or butternut squash. Also, if by some crazy turn of events, I actually do not want some avocado or mayo *gasp* I have a spoon or 2 out of the jar with a meal for a healthy fat. kellyp
I like it on sweet potatoes and squash too. I also use it on other veggies if I didn't season them enough when cooking. I have to be careful though because it could easily be a food without brakes for me!
Kim Christensen
That stuff isn't allowed in my house at the moment. I'm sure there is lots of great stuff one could use it for but I wouldn't even consider it when I had a jar because eating with a spoon was so sacred I didn't want to waste a bit of it IN something. Noelle
I like it spread on apple or pear—as part of a meal, of course.
