BrianaDell
Just went to whole foods to get some olives from the antipasti bar to go with my lunch. I love the ones with the spices! .... They almost all have canola oil!!! Why do you need canola?! THEY'RE OLIVES!!! Ugh. :-) found one that was didn't. Very happy!
Terez
I feel your pain. My local farmer's pastured hog bacon has canola oil. Bacon!!!!!!!!! (Which of course means I can't use the bacon grease from bacon that I had consumed previously either. I never, ever thought to check the ingredients on their bacon until I was doing the W30. )
shoothead
I've been frustrated with Whole Foods' liberal use of canola oil in their prepped foods. I once had an argument with another customer (a doctor no less), at the prep counter, about the difference between canola and olive oil and the superior benefits of the latter. BrianaDell
I asked the cheese/ deli guy at Fairway and he SAID that their olives only have olive oil so I am just trusting him and hoping that is true. There were no ingredients listed. I sort of emphasized the "seed oil" part in my question, thinking he might actually take me seriously.
