SarahnKevin
Hi there, I’m on day 6 of Whole30. First time ever doing Whole30. Yesterday I was talking to a friend who recently had a stroke, trying to find meals she could create with no sugar and low sodium. I grabbed a can of coconut milk because, I’d suggested maybe a curry because the spices make it so good you don’t need a lot of salt. I looked at the back of the can, read the ingredients and then scan the rest of the label. I realized in that moment there is 1g of sugar, not added sugar, but nevertheless 1g of sugar listed. Do my husband and I need to restart our Whole30 journey? Is today now day 1 or am I steadfast on day 6?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted April 12 Moderators Share Posted April 12 Sugar is only considered if it's in the ingredients. Most foods have naturally occurring sugars and that's fine.
