Julia
I am sorry if this is a duplicate I tried to do a search and I couldn't find anything. it said soy had to few letters anyway it seems as if there is soy lechtin in everything. Every one if my teas has it. Is this a forbidden ingredient?

MrsStick
Yeah, I just realized most of my tea has it too. I'm not happy about it for sure! My mint teas are still safe as is the chamomile one, but I don't want to be bringing chamomile to work in the morning with me! And one of the ones that doesn't have soy has citric acid (also not supposed to eat). Heck, I have one loose tea with rice flour. Go figure. ladyhoward
I don't believe citric acid is forbidden - only MSG, sulfites, and carrageenan. So your tea that has citric acid should be fine. You can confirm with one of the moderators though to be sure. You're correct though on the soy being out.

Citric acid is fine unless you have a particular issue with it.
praxisproject
I've switched to Twinings Infusions after finding my Celestial Seasonings teas are all contaminated with soy
MrsStick
I thought citric acid was out because most of it was corn-derived? If not, then lemon tea is in for me, but I swear I saw that somewhere....
