charms25
Hello there, I'm on day 6 of whole 30. I have been eating straight paleo for a week now and I noticed I have not lost any weight and have not cheated. I CrossFit 4 to 5 times a week. Am I doing something wrong? EmilyB456
Yes. You are weighing yourself! This is not a diet, and is about much more than numbers on a scale (which are basically meaningless, anyway). You are only 6 days in, so you may not notice any of the "magic" yet, but hang in there! Maybe soon you will start sleeping better, feeling full for longer after meals, your skin may clear up (mine is amazing on Day 20), and maybe you'll have more energy! MAYBE you will lose weight, but toss the scales! And the tape measure! Those are forbidden on this program, just like Diet Coke and peanut butter. kb0426
Stepping on the scale can create enough stress to impact the effectiveness of the whole30. Read all about cortisol and its effects in It Starts with Food.
