Jay Posted June 11, 2012 Share Posted June 11, 2012 Last week was a rough one for me, I really ramped up my Ironman training and found myself always hungry and, too often, turning to non paleo foods. This past weekend I really upped my calories and focused on recovery meals and, subsequently, have had a much easier time sticking to real food. I need to lock it down this week and figure out my caloric needs as I'm starting a Whole 30 on Sunday which will lead right into race week. Under-eating can be a big issue for athletic folks who take on a Whole30 program. You've got to work to replace the calories and carbs you're cutting out.
