Haven't had that since I lived in North London where every market had it--no I take that back--my husband brought back practically a suitcase full when he came back from Capetown one year--that was an interesting conversation at customs, I can tell you! In any event, now I just use a dehydrator to make our own jerky--the recipe is knocking around somewhere on this forum (think I posted it in jerky--or something equally as obvious). LibLady Posted February 2, 2013 Share Posted February 2, 2013 I have found that a can of tuna in olive oil over a bed of greens and other salad veggies is an easy go to. melbournegirl Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I did it. I opened the sardine tin (no tails, or heads!) and ate two (saved one for my son) outside.....
