kshacklett
I'll be eating at a Mexican restaurant this weekend for my brother in law's birthday, and I'm scouting out the menu ahead of time. One item that looks good is Shrimp in Mojo Galic sauce. The description is: "Sautéed shrimp in sweet roasted garlic mojo (sauce), onions, tomato and fresh avocado over rice" I've googled mojo sauce, and every recipe I've found so far is 100% compliant. The "sweet" apparently comes from the garlic being roasted, as well as orange juice in the recipe. Can I trust that the restaurant makes something similar to every recipe I've found? It's Plaza Azteca, in case anyone has experience going to one (I think they're mostly in Virginia, this one is in PA)
Megan Claydon
have you tried calling the place and speaking with a manager before hand?
Michaela Elmore Cogswell
you never know what restaurants will do so you ALWAYS want to ask. Call ahead is great but don't call in the midst of lunch or dinner. Best time to get a manager on the phone to have time to speak with you is between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
kshacklett
Thanks for the time frame - I knew not to call during lunch or dinner, but couldn't figure out what an optimal time would be. I leave work at 3:15 so I'll call then.
