Sue Hundley Sharpe
I know I saw a recipe on here for this chicken. And you brined it in water and salt for a couple of hours and then used lots of spices. I cannot find it.... anyone ????? thanks!

megmac
It is great, but a word to the wise. If you plan to brine overnight (she says it will keep for days), leave the salt out of the rub.
EmilyB456
Hmm...I actually like the extra saltiness, but I am kind of a salt addict. I make sure to rinse the chicken well after brining and before grilling and holy wow, that's good chicken! My mom leaves the salt out of the rub and decreases what's in the brine. Toneach his/her own!
SpinSpin
One thing about doing the whole 30 and paleo/primal in general, I have found, is I need to eat a bit more salt then before. The processed and fast food is cut out and sodium levels drop. I started having serious leg cramps at night and discovered that if I upped my salt intake, it helped quite a bit with the cramps. I was also reading this past week on a paleo blog about drinking real sauerkraut and pickle brines - a few T or so, not a glass full--will also help with muscle cramps.
