lhenkin
I made almond milk and I really like it in my tea. I am getting ready to make a second batch tomorrow. My question is....does anybody make use of the ground nut pulp that is leftover. Is there a use for that?
Susan W
I have heard that some people use it for paleo baked goods but that would be for after your W30. I think you could freeze it until then.
CAK911
Might be good compost/fertilizer if you garden.
EmilyB456
Ditto what Susan said. You can dry it out in a low (about 200 degree) oven, then freeze it to use in Paleo cookies/pancakes/whatever when your Whole30 is over. It won't be super fine, like Honeyville almond flour, so you may have to grind it a little more to get a good consistency, if that's what you want to do with it. I have used it to sprinkle on fruit, and I've used it to make pancakes for the kids. I can't stand to just throw it away!
TracyP
Is it better in milk than the boxed stuff... Cause that was kinda meh. And I MISS creamy coffee!
lhenkin
Yes! I like it much better in my tea! My son, however (who likes the carton stuff) did not agree...but then he was drinking it straight up. It is really easy! Give it a try!
