Day 0

Goals:

- I will get to the gym at least three days each week

- I will re-read It Starts With Food

I am starting on my good food journey asap. As it says in the Whole30 program guide: "Start now. Today. This minute. Count out thirty days on your calendar." Roger, dodger!

Food Log

For a snack I had Paleo Comfort Food's sweet potato casserole (with olive oil, not butter!).

And for dinner I'm having curry and coconut milk ground beef with sugar snap peas over riced cauliflower. Yummm!

Woke up feeling and looking blah after about 10 hours of sleep. Oy vey!

Cravings are crazy this afternoon!

Sabotage!!

Yesterday, I was sabotaged. Well, not really as I could've asked again what exactly was in what I was eating. Honey. Just honey. Still paleo, but not Whole30. Darn.

Anywho, since that was only Day 1, I've decided to start my Whole30 over. Tomorrow. February first! But fear not, sweet moderators! I shall be eating Whole30 today too. I just like the idea of having Day 1 on the first of the month. (:

Day 1 (redux)

Woke up tired today and spent most of the day hiding from the cold weather in bed! lol Then had a nap. (:

Day 2

Woke up today kinda tired, but not as bad as yesterday. Today is my very first mud run!!!

-sweet potato casserole (I make two batches of this nearly every week!)

Pre-mud run snack

-Steve's Original grass-fed kit

Lunch

-Large Primal Pac

Dinner

-can of salmon

-4oz. of steak

-salad with coconut vinegar

-spaghetti squash with ghee (I'm a creature of habit, and convenience)

Felt absolutely knackered after the mud run! lol And I've been doing CrossFit for three years now!

Day 4

I can't believe it's Day 4 already!! Slightly tired today, but my sleep patterns are already going back to awesome (i.e. getting tired around 9:30 and waking up around 7:30 without an alarm clock). LOVE it! And my tummy seems to have shrunk already! Wuuuut. :D

Before lunch today, I was having serious cravings for cupcakes and Snickers and all kinds of ridiculous things! I very nearly even gave in too! But I got home as soon as I could and got the quickest food I could. (;
