EmilyB456
Hi all! I just made this recipe for some garbage-free Chick-Fil-A nugget copycats. The kids LOVED them, I thought they were pretty tasty, and in one of my proudest parenting moments, the kids said, "What's a chicken nugget, anyway?" Hee hee! I have never been a big Chick Fil A fan, even before giving up fast food, but know there are a lot of people who love their food. Of course, leave out the cream. I'm not sure why you'd need it, anyway. I didn't even sub with coconut milk, as per the recs of the guy who wrote the recipe. http://thedomesticman.com/2012/12/27/gluten-grain-and-garbage-free-chick-fil-a-nuggets/#more-3589
Michaela Elmore Cogswell
those look pretty good. Probably want to use buttermilk or sour the cream with lemon to give that flavor. I'm with you, I'd probably not bother using coconut milk in it's place, though.
