JJB
Can you go to Costco? I found they had the best price, by far.

kshacklett
I second Costco - just bought some more last night. I probably save the equivalent of the annual fee every time I go there. I <3 Costco.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted February 6, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 6, 2013 The thing to know is that coconut oil varies in quality by a large amount. The cheap stuff I bought when I first started using it did not smell like coconuts to me and I could not taste any coconut when I ate it. I did not understand why people said such wonderful things about coconut oil given how it did not seem special to me. Later, I bought some at a higher quality store like Whole Foods and was amazed at how good it smelled and tasted. Nowadays I buy the Nutiva brand from a local health food store. I get a big container for $20 and it lasts me a long time.
lulucandoit!
The cheapest I have found is Trader Joe's. It's organic, delicious, and $6 and change for a jar.

Snicci
I get mine at Kroger, but just found out that Vitamin Shoppe carries it as well. I typically buy the Spectrum brand and use both the refined and unrefined. The unrefined is more "coconutty" and I use it for baking or things that I would want to have a "sweet" taste and use the unrefined for things like frying eggs.
