Niffer Posted February 6, 2013 Share Posted February 6, 2013 I had my first dining out experience last night and I studied the menu like you wouldn't believe. Weighed all my options. What to have removed. What to have in place...and I still failed. I ordered a skirt steak salad w/o the blue cheese and shoestring potatoes and added avacado (it also had some other veggies). It came with balsamic vinaigrette. I saw that and just instantly thought oil and vinegar and figured I was safe. I know what a vinaigrette is! And the kicker is, I ALWAYS ask for the dressing on the side but I think I was so focused on everything else that I was off my game. So needless to say I'm devouring the delicious salad since I was so hungry and all of a sudden I realize "hey, this tastes sweet" and I've realized what I've done.
