Kristen Schueler
Hi there, I am on Day 8 and feeling okay I guess. For the past few days I have been having GI issues after lunch, which is always a salad filled with tons of veggies. I am pretty sure it is from the green leafy veggies - should I cut them out all together, or would it help to cook them before I eat them?
Moluv
I was feeling the same way last week and was convinced it was from eating kale and onions and peppers- but in the book it talks about all the symptoms that can accompany changing ones diet- like being tired or gassy. There is also the possibility of yeast die off which feels like garbage. I kept eating my veggies and haven't felt that way again. I haven't the courage to eat more kale yet but I'm really pretty sure it was the die off. I started taking digestive enzymes as well as daily coconut water kefir to rebalance. CAK911
Cooking them would probably help. Raw food is more work to digest than cooked food.
