Guest
Hi, We just started and have been reading labels like crazy when we're not reading this site. My husband will be traveling in a few weeks and one of the suggestions for travelers is deli meat, but we have not found any tha would be Whole30 compliant. We're also interested in sources for meat in general in the area of Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley. Thanks, Nico
Moderators Tom Denham Posted February 19, 2013 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2013 I hear Applegate Farms has some compliant roast beef, but I've never found it in stores. Applegate has several chicken sausages that are compliant, but they need to be heated before you eat them. They are cooked, but I would not eat chicken sausage cold. Emily
Deli meat is hard. We buy bulk beef from Amy and Ellen. They are in Wellington; the meat is processed in Greeley and we pick it up there.
Mariah
Diesel, Applegate, Niemans and Organic Valey all make deli meats that are sugar free that you are likely to find at co-ops. Applegate and Organic Valley both have options that are also organic.
