MrsStick
Not sure if you guys have seen this yet, but I figured I'd share it! For a while since I started eating this way, I noticed my teeth looked whiter and I had WAY less plaque/tartar build-up. I figured it was because less of my food (since I had no simple grains) could be digested fully in my mouth to build up on my teeth. Now, research tracks dental disease's evolution through calcified bacteria on skulls from the stone age onward. Their findings? As we became farmers (think: grains) and onward through the Industrial Revolution, our mouths underwent drastic negative changes with what was living in our mouths. http://www.hngn.com/articles/1322/20130217/ancient-teeth-bacteria-record-disease-evolution.htm
