Moluv
I'm excited to have received an early delivery of pasture raised raw sliced pork belly and am looking for ideas for marinating/seasoning it. I am considering marinating it with a few currants for sweetness and paprika for smokiness but would love other ideas. -I did search this topic but didn't find what I was looking for, so if this topic is old hat please do forgive my newbie ways-
Sharon Simpson Thumann
I usually just cure my pork belly then slice and fry it up, but I have used the following recipe a couple of times. http://easteuropeanfood.about.com/od/appetizers/r/porkbelly.htm Pretty good minus the wine, I just used extra stock.
