If you've never heard of it, you can check out the recipe here: http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/2009/02/22/my-favorite-chili-recipe/ I've got most of the ingredients, but the one problem I've had is locating a can of beef broth. I'm in Japan, and all the brands at my local supermarket include soy sauce. Would substituting water be okay? Also, is it difficult to make a comparable broth from scratch?
