The College Inn fat free low sodium chicken broth label lists the following ingredients:

Chicken Broth, Contains Less Than 1% of the Following: Salt, Dextrose, Natural Flavors, Yeast Extract, Concentrated Vegetable Juices (Onion, Celery, Carrot), Xanthan Gum.

are there any no-no ingredients in there? At first glance it doesn't seem like it to me...

I found "Imagine" brand Organic Free Range Chicken Broth, Low fat & No added MSG.

Here's the ingredient list: Organic chicken broth (filtered water, organic chicken), organic onions, organic celery, organic carrots, sea salt, natural chicken flavor, organic spices. Sodium is 740 mg.

I have to say... I just made soup from scratch for the first time yesterday. Aside from the time it takes, it's very easy. And there's absolutely no comparison with store bought broths or soups! I used a bunch of chicken bones that I had saved plus a big beef soup bone I got from the butcher and it was the most delicious broth I have ever had (don't tell my grandma!)
