jill011
The College Inn fat free low sodium chicken broth label lists the following ingredients: Chicken Broth, Contains Less Than 1% of the Following: Salt, Dextrose, Natural Flavors, Yeast Extract, Concentrated Vegetable Juices (Onion, Celery, Carrot), Xanthan Gum. are there any no-no ingredients in there? At first glance it doesn't seem like it to me...
Kirsteen
I'm afraid dextrose means sugar

CharlotteT
If you are a costco member their Kirkland brand of stock is $12 for six boxes of stock and compliant! The only stock i found at my local health food store was $5 for a box.
Katey Dager
I have to say... I just made soup from scratch for the first time yesterday. Aside from the time it takes, it's very easy. And there's absolutely no comparison with store bought broths or soups! I used a bunch of chicken bones that I had saved plus a big beef soup bone I got from the butcher and it was the most delicious broth I have ever had (don't tell my grandma!)
