2hounddogs
Can anyone suggest a W30-compliant brand of bacon? I know we shouldn't eat it all the time, but it sure would be nice to have. I'm starting W30 in a couple weeks and want to prepare ahead of time. I went to my local Whole Foods, but every single type of bacon they had showed sugar as an ingredient. Any suggestions? I'm cool with making my own sausage, but there's no way I could make my own bacon!
helen
I haven't found one yet. If you do a search I remember reading about buying a type of pork that is basically bacon but I can't remember what it was. I had some bacon yesterday since I am starting today and won't have any for a month!
Susan W
US Wellness sells one on their website. Spendy stuff. I make my own. It's very easy. Just get a raw pork belly. If you do a search in the threads, you will find lots of recipes.
Betsy Mahaffey See
I thought we decided that the Gwaltney with No Sugar Added was OK?
juliashopping1
I believe bacon is okay to have sometimes, but it cannot be combined meat or have any sugar.
