Claussen Kosher Dill Pickles

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I am brand new to this and want to put my best effort towards doing the Whole30. I have an obsession with Claussen Kosher dills. Here is the ingredient list. Is there anything that would prevent me from having these during the next 30 days?

Fresh Cucumbers, Water, Salt, Distilled Vinegar, Contains Less than 2% of Dried Garlic, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate (to Preserve Flavor), Spice, Mustard Seed, Natural Flavor, Polysorbate 80, Dried Red Peppers, Oleoresin Turmeric

Thanks!

You can eat the Clausen's but there are better choices available.

Ok on the Claussen's? Wow, I never knew that. I passed on these pickles last weekend in my lettuce wrapped hamburger. I'll definitely remember this because I'm going another 6 weeks on the Whole 30.

For the love of what is good and holy, why the heck do they need to ruin perfectly good pickles with Polysorbate 80 in it! I am so disgusted with this now! I am tossing the big jar in my fridge.

So the dill pickles with Plolysorbate 80 is a no then? I’m slightly confussed!

Polysorbate 80 is fine as far as the Whole30 rules go. It's not ruled out.
