wife and I starting W30 tomorrow... wish us luck!

I've posted in a couple other places already but figured I should do a formal introduction here.

Hi! We've been eating fairly paleo-friendly for a while (my wife has a medical condition that leads to allergic reactions to a lot of foods especially preservatives and spices so we cook a lot, read labels constantly, and are accustomed to having large portions of the grocery store be unavailable) but we do enjoy sweets and eat some dairy and grains. Working on a W30 together seems like a good way to force ourselves away from them to see how we feel 30 days later. It's exciting and a bit scary. We do have the advantage of the local (Los Angeles) farmer's markets providing an abundance of awesome fresh veggies and fruit. Plus we're in it together so we'll keep each other on track and properly motivated.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what the experience reveals.

Hi, best of luck to you and your wife! LA does have it's advantages -- I work downtown and there is a Farmer's Market literally outside my office building on Fridays :) Please let everyone know how it's going -- as a newbie myself (on day 5), it really helps to hear others' stories. Best, Karen

Sure definitely will share. We live Downtown (Arts District) but I work in the valley so I never make it to that market. I do go to either one of the ones in Santa Monica or Hollywood pretty much every weekend. They're both completely awesome. :)
