LindaLee 384
I can't seem to find a reasonably priced flavored bottled water that doesnt have sucralise or some other artificial sweetener. I found some club soda that I like - it has sodium bicarbonate and sodium citrate in it; is that okay? I'd rather make my own but when I put lime in one bottle it tasted really bitter. This probably sounds dumb, but any tips? Thanks!
Robin Strathdee 2914
Do you have Dillons or Price Cutter nearby? We like LaCroix brand flavored waters(12 pack of cans) and they have no junk. The berry flavor is SO yummy.
LindaLee 384
Brilliant! We don't have those stores but it looks like they have it at my nearby Target. Thank you!!!

LindaLee 384
What is hint water?
Julia Nelson 8
http://www.drinkhint.com/ It's water that has just a "hint" of fruit flavor. It's unsweetened and delicious. I've seen it at Whole Foods and in some Stop & Shops in the natural section.
Derval 3321
This "Sassy Water" is yummy Ingredients 2 Liters water 1 medium cucumber 1 lemon Sliced 10-12 mint leaves. Mix all the ingredients together and steep overnight in fridge and drink every day.
kayell 141
Dervalc has it right. Make your own tasty flavored water. Don't spend money on WATER packaged in plastic, shipped thousands of miles using tankerfuls of oil and filling up landfills with waste. Don't give into corporate marketing that tells you that only packaged water will do. Open the tap, fill a large bottle (or 3) in your fridge, add your own real food flavors. Don't like lime? Try mint, ginger slices, berries, other citrus. apple slices. Google homemade flavored water for more ideas. Bottled Water Pricey in More Ways than One

Robin Strathdee 2914
I've heard the coconut flavor is really good! We're also considering a Soda Stream to make our own fizzy water.
LindaLee 384
For now I found some LaCroix at a Target on the way home. I'll enjoy this while experimenting with making my own...for now I'm loving the cranberry.
TMK216 3
I have a Sodastream and it is one of my favorite Paleo purchases. I told my husband I needed it to make carbonated water so I could infuse natural fruits but still have some fizz. It has been wonderful. I like to add lemon, lime and orange so far but I'm still experimenting!
CAK911 236
I love the LaCroix coconut. I just tried it yesterday.
Emily 441
Yesterday I made cucumber-mint water (I found it here). Cut some thin cucumber slices, put in water with mint leaves, chill for awhile. It was awesome—had a great crisp, fresh taste!
Annette Louise Alvidres Grable 18
I occasionally enjoy Metromint water. It's got no sugar or calories. It has mint and comes in citrus and other fruit flavors, plus my favorite, which is chocolate. The latter is flavored with cocoa essence. I usually get it at Whole Foods, but I have seen it elsewhere. Annette

melliemoo 18
There is a Trader Joe's water that lists carbonated water and natural fruit flavor as the ingredients that I've been drinking. I just ordered a Sodastream too.

Run4fun 206
I love my soda stream.....and I love the fact that I'm not recycling a bunch of plastic every week since the bottles are reusable.
praxisproject 1930
Think outside the citrus square when it comes to fruit in fizzy water, chunks of orange, apple, berries and melon are good too. When using citrus fruit, don't just use the juice, hand squeeze (no juicer) so you get the oils from the zest as well. The white part (pith) is bitter, the longer it soaks the more bitter it will get. The zest and juices however are not bitter. If you can get them, Meyer lemons are less sour. In Australia we have Mount Franklin's hint mineral water range, berry, lime or lemon (berry's the best, lemon is the least interesting). As far as I know, these only come in 1.25 litre bottles. I have a sodastream too, great for fizzy on demand and you can fizzy filtered water too.
Krista Billows Rodriguez 499
I've heard the coconut flavor is really good! We're also considering a Soda Stream to make our own fizzy water. Get it! You won't regret it. I bought one a couple weeks ago, we use it every day, sometimes 2-3x a day! My youngest loves mineral water so does my hubby, we are all drinking more water than ever before now thanks to the sodastream. I even bought one to have a work so I can make bubbly water there too. gray 4
I'm seconding (er, thirding or fourthing) the love for LaCroix. The flavors on their own are great, but you can also jazz it up a little if you start to get bored. I like adding a little lime juice to the coconut, and muddling basil in a glass for the orange.
