Guest
I am curious if anyone has had any changes in their lithium levels during the transition to a W9 lifestyle. I had a level done the day that I started (31 days ago) and it was 1.0. I am not sure how much salt I consumed before as compared to now - many of us thought our diet was healthy before, right? I am starting to wonder if my level may have risen since it is a salt and I may not be getting as much salt as before. I am in between providers with a few weeks before I can get in again, but I will go to urgent care if my symptoms seem significant and I will call to see if I can be added to a waiting list. If anyone has any experience with this, I'd really love to hear from you.
lulucandoit!
I do not have an answer for this but I am curious to know what your doctor says. My daughter takes lithium and is thinking about trying a w30 in the future. I would love to give her a heads up, if there are concerns.
Guest
If I learn anything, I'll update my post. Changes in hydration (think salt and caffeine) can have an impact on lithium. I did a bit of an eval of my pre and post diet last night and I'm not sure salt is the culprit. I did skip the magnesium yesterday and I do feel a touch better today. Finding a doctor who will be OK with this change and supervise has to be the best plan of action.
