W.J.
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there's a certain amount of water we are supposed to drink daily? I know I've always heard that we should drink 8 - 8 ounce glasses a day, but I just don't drink that much of anything! Is there a minimum amount I should make sure to get in every day? Thanks! Renee Lee
half your body weight(lbs) in ounces I'm 170, so I should (and generally do) drink 85 oz./day
Fenderbender
As a reformed diet coke drinker..... The more water I drink, the better I feel! I down at least a gallon a day (225 lbs) so I'm just over that number.... If I have an off day... It's usually because I didn't keep up with fluid intake... Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 22, 2013 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2013 I've never measured my water intake, but I am sure it is between 1/2 and 1 gallon per day. I drink about 24 ounces as soon as I get up in the morning and then another 12 ounces over the next hour just to get the day started. I really don't feel as well on days when I don't keep my routine. W.J.
Half my body weight is a lot of ounces! I don't know if I can handle that much water everyday and its consequent restroom breaks. Thanks for the replies everyone!

Thanks for the replies everyone! WJ - It will require frequent pit stops at first, but you adjust after a few days.
Kim Christensen
Right. At first you will go a lot but that doesn't last. Your body adjusts and you will be able to drink TONS of water and not be going all the time.
