Jami
Is this ok on Whole 30? If so, where can I buy some in seattle are and what brands are approved.? I know bacon is not recommended but is there a descent brand I can buy to just crumble on a salad from time to time?
1Maryann
A lot of us make our own sausage. It's very easy. There are tons of paleo seasoning recipes out there. Buy some plain ground pork and pick a recipe you like. Stir the seasonings up together in a small bowl, then add to ground meat. Work through, and let chill for a couple of hours if you can, so the flavors have time to mingle. Then I usually shape into patties and freeze in portions, so I can take out just what I need. There are several threads on compliant bacon. Use the search tool to find them. Some are available at local stores, and some ordered off the internet. Kristin Caisse Dionne
I made Bison sausage this morning using Well Fed's recipe for sausage seasoning. It was FABULOUS.
