sd1004 Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 I use a Polar Heart rate Monitor watch to monitor my heart rate and calories burned during my workouts. I am on day 20 of my Whole30 and have lately had a REALLY hard time getting my heart rate up! I have a naturally low resting heart rate, however doing high intensity activity used to bring my heart rate into the range of 127-158 quite easily. However after doing the Whole30, the same, or even more intense activities, only bring my heart rate up to 145 max. I know I am still working hard and am always covered in sweat at the end of my workout so I am confused as to what's going on! I'm just wondering if this is connected to the Whole30 lifestyle; has this happened to anyone else before? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
