Cassie M
Here's the situation: I started my W30 just 4 days before my period was due. I had a normal period which came as expected, but have been spotting every day since my period ended. I am currently on day 8 of spotting, and there is little sign of it easing up! I went to my doctor yesterday and she mentioned that spotting like this is a normal bodily response to a hormonal imbalance. She's going to run some tests so that we know for sure what is happening. I'm wondering if the dietary changes I have made may be causing this imbalance, but since I only started the W30 four days before my period came, would that be enough time for my hormones to respond and wig out like this? I'm particularly curious about whether ditching soy milk could cause such an immediate response. Has anybody experienced something similar to this? Link to comment
Megan Claydon
yes the whole30 can cause hormonal disruption and changes to all things involved with your cycle. it's "normal". Link to comment
