Cooking with Coconut Oil

You know, I used coconut oil for a stir-fry last night and I was kind of shocked at how quickly it smoked! I was using the refined version which indicates it's good for high heat, too. I'm fairly certain the last couple of times I cooked in my wok, I used either ghee or no oil (since I was starting with ground beef), so this was a first for me.

Thanks for asking this. I'll be curious to see the responses.
