Taryn64
Is sesame seed oil allowed on the whole 30? Was planning to stir fry with it
Susan W
Its allowed but it's not really meant to cook with. It's more of a marinating oil and a stir in at the end of cooking oil. It breaks down very easily under moderate heat. Do you have some coconut oil you can use to stir fry with?
Kirsteen
Wot Susan said. I was watching a TV program about Chinese cookery and apparantly they never cook with seseme oil but add a little at the end for flavour.
LoisH99
I'm so glad I saw this post today! I have a great 5-spice roasted chicken recipe that has toasted sesame seed oil in the marinade and I hated to think it was a "no no" on Whole30! ::::heading down to the freezer to defrost some chicken:::::
