Emily
Is Celestial Seasonings Roastaroma Tea okay for a Whole30? I thought it was, but then my boyfriend pointed out that the main ingredient is barley. Here's the ingredient list from their website: Roasted barley, roasted chicory, roasted carob, cinnamon, allspice and Chinese star anise. Arg...now that I'm looking at the ingredients online, I see they also say that it contains gluten (!!). I suspect it's goodbye Roastaroma. I'm having a rough time finding herbal teas that don't contain soy (or apparently, gluten! Who would put gluten in a tea!) Suggestions? Thanks! Johnny M
I'm not a tea drinker so I don't know but gluten (and barley) are definitely out. Sorry!
Renee Lee
I think your problem is with your brand, Emily. Try branching out from Celestial Seasonings. Try Yogi or Traditional Medicinals. The Republic of Tea is also pretty good. Always double check your labels though!
Emily
Thanks... I'll check out some others. Living right next to Boulder I've always been partial to Celestial Seasonings, but time to branch out!
