Amy Ling
Now, is coconut flour considered a grain? I tried googling it and it says it's grain free but I wanted to double check here.
Tavia
Coconut flour isn't a grain. However, it's typically avoided during W30.
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 27, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 27, 2012 You can use coconut flour during a Whole30 for things like thickening a sauce or browning a piece of meat. Things like pancakes, waffles, bread, etc. are out during a Whole30 even if you make them with coconut flour because you are asked to avoid "paleo-fying" a conventional diet.
