I'm looking for anyone starting the Whole 30 plan May 1st. I'm reading the book now and I'm gettng stocked up on the food and saving up to buy a new fridge on the 19th to keep my food separate from everyone elses in the house. I could start tomorrow but I think May 1st to make sure I have all my carrots in a row:)

Anyone want start a support group?

Fiona:)

My girlfriend and I are starting May 1st as well. Though she has only agreed to commit for 1 week (as inspired by the "7 day real food challenge", but didn't like the start date they suggested.), we are going to see how the first week goes and maybe go for the full 30. Likewise we are working on clearing out the pantry (can't believe that only 2 out of 7 bottles of vinegar are actually compliant, and neither is any of my lemon juice) and trying to get what we will need to make it through. A lot more stuff has to go than we originally anticipated.

I've sourced meat and eggs so far but grass fed butter in Canada? oh my lol I may just have to make do with organic Ghee if I can find that. I'm the only one doing this and there are five adults and three kids in my house so this will be interesting to see how much willpower I have. My husband is having surgery on the 26th of April so I'm not even going to ask him to do this though even if he wasn't sure Im sure he wouldn't

I'm starting (with my mom and sister) on May 6th. My birthday is at the beginning of May and I already have things planned and know I'll be tempted so I figure after my birthday is a good time to start. It also gives me time to plan.

We have four kids in our house. Right now me and my girls are paleo, but the boys (my spouse and teen) aren't. This means that they boys are usually eating things we can't eat and it's not as hard to avoid as you might think, Terraskye, once you get into the habit of saying no. The hardest part is actually that my hubs usually wants me to try the food he cooks and I don't want to because it makes him feel bad because he fancies himself a good cook and he is but it's just not healthy food.

I'll be following your journey just a few weeks behind you! Are you going to plan meals or just kind of wing it?
