Pre workout

Curious about this too. I plan to go back to my 5:30 am Boot Camp class. I live close , so usually don't get out the bed until 5:10 am. I don't want to get up earlier and try to stuff food in my mouth. I used to have a small protein shake, but now that isn't possible. Really thinking about skipping the pre breakfast. I usually have enough energy to get through the workout when I don't eat or drink beforehand.

For me..protein and fat are what gets me through a workout. Lean protein with no extra fat and starchies after. It seems to fuel me through my workout and helps me recover after. So..hard boiled egg dipped in mayo or with avocado before. Tuna or sardines with sweet potato after.
