Tuna/Seafood Question

How much is too much in a week?

I had salmon one time this week for dinner and tuna for lunch once. Considering it again tonight for dinner. Too much? I know I've always heard to not consume it that often.

Thoughts?

That is more for pregnant women and young children. 12 oz a week for pregnant ladies :-) But if you are not pregnant, you can enjoy your fish. If you are concerned about mercury levels, eat smaller fish, like sardines and the like, eat wild, pole caught fish, and vary the types of seafood you eat, like salmon one day, clams the next, shrimp after that.

I try to eat salmon or sardines at least every other day. I miss a day every once in a while, but average eating fish at least every third day. I would not worry about eating fish five or six times per week, but usually don't fit it in that often.
