Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 28, 2013 I've never seen coconut milk yogurt in a store that did not include ingredients that made it off limits during a Whole30 and a bad choice generally. However, there is at least one post on the forum giving directions for making your own coconut milk yogurt. I've been meaning to try it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. By the way, you can't go by brands during a Whole30. Most companies sell multiple varieties and it is common for one to be Whole30-compliant and other varieties to be full of junk. You have to read labels. And sometimes, they change their formulations and do things like add sugar when they did not add sugar before.
LoisH99
I'm done with my Whole30. That said, I had a Trader Joe's coconut milk yogurt this week. It was edible, but I probably won't buy another one. The consistency reminded me of those old Light N Lively yogurts we ate in the 80s.....
