What does your breastfed toddler eat?

Recommended Posts

Thanks Robin! We haven't done the puree thing either (unless we're having it that way, like cauliflower mash). We do a mix of raw, fermented, roasted, steamed, and sauteed. He does go for fermented veggies and occasionally for the cooked ones, never raw though.

My 14 month old is not a fan of veggies, really. She loves her proteins, fruit, and eggs! I am also still breast feeding, but continue to offer everything I eat. Good luck to you! These toddlers are strange creatures. (:

My 13 mo old definitely loves her protein over anything else. I have noticed she tends to snuff off veggies if there isn't enough flavor added. She will gobble up garlic sauteed zucchini but hates plain cauli mash. Don't be afraid to add spices/seasonings to his food. If you are eating those things he's getting them through your breastmilk and has some experience with the flavors.
