Hawaiian Chili Salt - please tell me I don't have to start over!

I was making my eggs this morning and wanted to put some different spices in so I put in a pinch of my Hawaiian Chili Salt before reading the ingredients. I ate my breakfast and was curious so I checked . . . it has sugar listed in the ingredients. Does this mean I have to start over? Today is day 14.

Lesson learned - read ingredients BEFORE adding to food.

Ugh...I hate that for you...

Do you have sugar cravings? For me, sugar was a serious issue so I probably would have started over since even a tiny amount of sugar might have started my cravings...everyone is different so you may be able to just push thru, I can't imagine it was a huge amount anyway if you were just seasoning eggs.

I haven't had many sugar cravings for the past few days and I haven't noticed any yet since this morning. I think I used 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of the salt so it would've been a very very small amount of sugar. I think I'll push through and if I'm still having sugar cravings at the end of my original 30 days I'll extend it out.

Thank you Robin! "The Whole30 isn't about perfection, it's about awareness". That's exactly what people need to know! We went out to dinner last night, and while I made sure I asked about EVERYTHING I ordered, I'm still not 100% confident that there may have been something that's not recommended...but, I felt fine this morning, so I'm forging on!
