kirent
So some of the sweet potatoes I purchased were getting old and after baking them it looked like a few had become slightly fermented. I guess they tasted a little sweeter than I recall sweet potatoes tasting and there was a light alcohol smell to them. Will this be okay?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted May 6, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 6, 2013 Hmm. My experience with old sweet potatoes is their getting dry and tough, not extra sweet and smelling of alcohol. I'm not sure if I would eat those, but they may be just fine.
