SummerGirl
Just looking for inspiration-will put together a paleo snack pack for myself for when flying-there's no way I'd find anything decent on a plane otherwise! What are your favourite portable paleo 'go to' foods for when you are travelling? Thanks!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 2, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 2, 2012 I travel with a one gallon zip-lock bag of cashews or macadamia nuts (not full). I avoid eating nuts at home, but they are a big help when traveling. I am a big fan of sardines. You can't take them on planes, but you can find Whole30-compliant sardines most anywhere. CAK911
I slice up bell peppers and stick them in a ziploc. Carrots are good, too. Those kind of depend on how long you're gone for, and if you can keep things cool, but they're good for a day of traveling regardless. And, I take cashews, almonds, or macadamias with me a lot, too. Derval
I flew with a big lunchbox of macadmaias, sulatnas & jerky, another bag of dried fruit, and a cool bag with a lunch box salad - leaves, ham, egg mayo...
