  1. @SarahSchroeder Just keep going. I was almost at the point of giving up, but I decided to give it a little while longer as long as I was able to comfort my baby through the gassy times. It was hard and we had several long nights. Happy to say today we are on Day 28 and it only took him a little while to adjust to my new eating habits. He hardly even has gas now days.

I bet that was really hard. It has been going really good. My hardest thing is when I fix my kids food I usually always pick at what they don't eat. I have caught myself several times picking up something from their plate and having to put it back down. Also I make iced sugar cookies. It has been very busy the last couple days and it has been hard not to taste the product that I am making. Throw all your sweets away if it is too tempting. You can do it. Be strong. We are almost 1/3 of the way through the Whole30
  3. Thank you.l for the advice. I hate him hurting because of something I might be eating. He is my first priority. I started Whole30 to better my eating habits for my kids and I was hoping it would help me supply better milk and nutients to him. But I don't want to continue if it causing him problems. I am hoping that his problems are only temporary until his body gets used to the different foods I am eating. I do wear him in a carrier some. I don't all day. I do carry him a lot though with my arm under his legs to keep them bunched up. He likes for me to pat his booty too. Just try to keep him relaxed as much as possible. That seems to work.
  4. Almost every vegetable except potato, onion, and bell pepper. I ate a lot of junk before so this a huge food change for me. I ate eggs just every now and then though.
  5. It is the same. He just straightens out his legs. He has always been a gassy baby but never cried with it.
  6. BP is bell pepper. I am not looking for medical advice. I just wanted to know if any other moms were having trouble with their babies since starting the plan. I was looking for support from someone that may have gone through the same thing. I added a forth meal today.
  7. Monday- potato hash w/onion & BP and eggs hamburger patty w/grilled onions, guacamole and roasted potatoes, carrots and cauliflower hummus sheetpan chicken fajitas (onion, BP) wrapped in green leaf lettuce topped with homemade salsa and guacamole snacked on an apple and nuts Tuesday- scrambled eggs with compliant sausage, onion, BP leftover dinner from monday hammburger patty topped with guacamole roasted potatoes and asparagus snacked grapes, apple, and nuts Have been scared to eat bananas, broccoli, and sweet potatoes
  8. I started Whole30 on the 6th and at the end of day 2 my 8week old is having bad stomach problems. I know all the fresh vegetables and fruit are probably effecting him. Any advice from breastfeeding moms on how to help him through this phase? Thanks

Emw30 Between 2-5 are my worst times. I always snack on sweet junk during that time. I was so worried about that yesterday because I am such a sweet eater, but I was fine. We can do this!

Yesterday was my first day. It was a good day. I have to say prepping Sunday and planning all my meals really helped. I had skillet chicken fajitas wrapped with lettuce topped with salsa and guacamole. It was awesome! If y'all want to try! http://laughingspatula.com/sheet-pan-fajitas/ How did y'all do?

Hi everyone. I am 38 and a mom of 3. I have a 5,4, and 8week old. I am excited to start the Whole30 journey. I have pretty much eaten junk food all my life. I am excited to learn how the wrong food was effecting my body and how the correct food will make me feel. I am doing the Whole30 to feel better about myself. I want to be a good example to my kids. I am also doing this to stop the bad eating habits I have formed over my life. I understand that this may not all happen in 30 days. I am committing to continue this journey each day for the 30 days and each day after until I feel I have made life changing habits. I am very fortunate that my amazing husband is starting the journey with me. I am glad that I will have the support of friends and family and this forum. I am sure I will need a lot of support. This journey to change will not be easy, but I am determined to make the change happen
