Bob Thorn Posted March 21, 2017 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Hi. I had been on Prilosec / Omeprazol for about 15 years. On the second week, I decided to stop taking it. I have not had one episode of heart burn since! It used to be that if I ran out, I was in pain after 1 day. My question is during reintroduction, what caused you to need acid meds again?
