Brand New - Day 1

Hello.  Today is my first day with Whole 30!  I've been mentally gearing up for a week and I am excited to have taken my first "steps" with the program.  Two things I noticed right away: 1) Prepping for meals takes a LOT more time than I had anticipated.  2) I am amazed in my discovery of how much sugar was part of my morning routine.  I'm looking forward to reading about other's journey through this program.  

 

I can do this.

You sure can do this!!

Prepping is KEY for this and it does take a while, but once you get in the routine, you get the hang of it! I followed Well Fed's prep guide at first like a bible, and now I don't even need it but it sure did help me out at first. Also so many people on this board had great advice for prepping different things- I spend a good portion of my Sunday prepping for my week, that way I don't get "caught" without a compliant meal ever!!
