ljatkins84 Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 I decided to jump in on Monday. This is my first whole30. I started at a good time and a bad time. I'm traveling for work so that poses the obvious hurdles of pretty much only eating out. So far I think I've done a pretty good job. I think I've asked all the right questions to the wait staff and made the best educated decisions. The food has actually been pretty good. I've managed to not have any alcohol, which is saying something because I travel for work with a good friend and we always indulge when we're w/o husbands and kids. I fear getting back home to my family and having to prepare sometimes two meals (there are some stuff my 5 and 2 year old will just not eat) and be around all the "good stuff". I'd love tips for these kinds of situations. Also, I sometimes love to come home from a stressful day at work and have a glass of wine while my girls are screaming and fighting and tune out the day.
