caitpage Posted April 20, 2016 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Day 13 here, doing well eating 3 template meals a day. I've been struggling the few days with stomach cramps/gut issues after lunch. I know from previous experience that too many raw veggies can really upset my stomach, but I'm not sure if the veggies I am eating would really cause a problem? Here's what I've been eating and I can't seem to figure out what the issue is: Salad (usually whole foods salad bar, sometimes at home) -Lettuce (romaine & spring mix), about 2 cups -Red cabbage, raw, sliced, about a handful -Shredded carrots, raw, about 1/4 cup -Summer squash, cubed or shredded, raw, about 1/2 cup -Cucumber, raw, sliced, about 5-6 thick slices -Black olives, sliced, about 1/3 cup -*Artichoke hearts, quartered, about 4-5 -*Green onions, chopped, about 2 TBS -*Baba Ganoush, about 1/2 cup (according to their recipe card, it's 100% compliant) -*Avocado, fresh, 1/2 -Chicken, about 1/2 cup -Eggs, hard boiled, 1-2 (I typically don't eat the yolks if they are from the salad bar - chalky and gross) -Lemon juice, a good long squeeze -Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a good long squeeze (there's usually about 1 TBS left of the oil/juice mix when I finish so everything is really coated it in) The * means I didn't put those things in my salad today and I still feel sick.
