JenniferCA
Hi everyone. I am on day 15 of my first whole 30. My period is several days late (that never happens!!), I'm experiencing extreme nausea, and my nipples hurt (which is very rare!) If I didn't know better I would think I was pregnant, but I'm 43 years old and my husband had a vasectomy six years ago. LOL. Could this all be hormone fluctuations related to my change in eating? I feel terrible - and this is the point I should be starting to feel good. I feel like I want to eat soda crackers and 7- up to make myself feel better. Any thoughts or advice? Link to comment
JenniferCA
Well - I just did some more reading in this forum and it appears very normal. I think I must have delayed ovulation by starting Whole 30 when I did!! Crazy how that works. Hopefully I start feeling better soon. Link to comment

JenniferCA
Day #22 today. I'm feeling A LOT better but still no period. Weird. I think it's coming soon, though. Thanks! Link to comment
afmichaels
If you're still feeling the nausea, I find sweet potatoes to be a great 'comfort carb' in place of crackers. I get nausea issues when I accidentally take my vitamins on a slightly too empty stomach, and sweet potatoes really do the trick. I just pierce one a few times with a fork and throw it in the microwave for four or five minutes. Link to comment
JanaiJourneyonwhole30
My period was way way late bit I knew it was coming, 36 days late to be exact. Link to comment
