Starting up in Toronto

I just started yesterday and I am not sure I have eaten that much food in one sitting in a long time.  I am 51 and about 2 years ago I started to put on weight.  I was about 3 years into HRT treatment for menopause and I also have Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism and Colitis.  All that being said, I felt generally healthy, went to the gym every day with good workouts (spin, bootcamp, yoga) but the weight just kept piling on.

Last October I switched from the standard hypo  thyroid meds (synthroid) to a natural desiccated thyroid along with a T3 med.  Those of you that follow the Stop The Thyroid Madness protocol would know what I am talking about.  

After a summer of eating and drinking, I knew I needed a reset, and so I am here.  Day 2 today and so far it is fine.  I am 100% following week 1 from the book.
