My husband and I started Whole30 on the 18th. I've been browsing this website since about a week before just reading rules and testimonials and such. My husband is motivated to do this because he's the heaviest he's ever been and is disappointed in himself. I am motivated because I'm tired of eating unhealthy food and being tired. Among other things. Sure, I could stand to lose 30-40 pounds, but it isn't my main goal. I just want to feel good. We were doing well on a ketogenic diet for a few months, but fell off the wagon around Thanksgiving. It's been rough. I started to read up on the whole30 and got excited. I even purchased the books. It's now the 24th, and I'm so excited to say that I haven't had any cravings. I feel good. We are really planning on this being more of a lifestyle change than just a 30 day thing. Even though my husband says I'm trying to turn him into a hippie. Lol
