I have been playing around with Whole30 for the last 4 weeks, eating very clean for 5-7 days and then cheating (but starting again the next day). I have felt much better, slept better and had more energy even though I didn't follow the plan completely. This past couple of days I have had an eye opening experience about how food truly affects the way I feel. We just returned from a trip to the mountains with friends where we had a kitchen and were able to prepare our own food. I was able to eat clean some of the time, but when I didn't eat clean I felt horrible (very bad digestion issues). In addition to tummy troubles, I had no energy at all during the trip (and I have no energy today--first day home from trip). This experience has made it totally clear to me why I need to complete the Whole30 without cheating.

Today is a new day! Whole30 Day 1! Bring it on, I am ready! :D
